Why this page exists
Pressure washer marketing focuses on PSI because large numbers sell. But a 3,000 PSI washer at 1.2 GPM does less work per hour than a 2,000 PSI unit at 2.5 GPM. Cleaning units — PSI multiplied by GPM — is the composite number that predicts productivity.
Nozzle selection is equally undertaught: the 0-degree red tip that came in the box will strip paint, damage wood, and etch concrete if you point it at the wrong thing. This page covers the decision framework so you buy the right machine with the right accessories from the start.

Electric pressure washer

Gas pressure washer 3000 PSI
2,700–3,300 PSI at 2.5–3.0 GPM for heavy concrete cleaning, paint prep, and extended use. No power outlet needed — useful for remote locations like driveways and outbuildings.
