How this works

Every affiliate link on this site (eBay, Amazon, Walmart) carries a customid parameter. When you pick a charity here, that parameter is rewritten to encode your chosen charity and a random token we store in your browser. When a sale completes, the affiliate program reports back against that customid, and our backend attributes the commission to your chosen charity.

We then forward 90% of every attributed commission to that 501(c)(3) — money we hold and are bound to pass on, never kept by us. The math is per-transaction — not pooled. You can see totals at the ledger and your personal clicks at your impact.

If you never pick a charity, your clicks are still tracked — they go into an unattributed bucket and will be split evenly across the active slate when we disburse.

Disclosure: ShopToDoGood is not itself a 501(c)(3). Your shopping commission is not tax-deductible to you — you are not making a donation, you are shopping. The 90% is money we collect and are bound to forward to the named 501(c)(3) — held for your chosen charity, never kept by us; they issue their own receipts.
