Neither tells you how to calculate the heater size you need for a given room volume, or what "traditional" actually means in terms of installation complexity vs a plug-in infrared unit.
The gap between a correctly specified 4kW sauna heater and a 6kW one isn't performance — it's electrical cost and permit requirements. Those details matter before purchase, not after.

Infrared sauna home
Far-infrared panels heat the body directly rather than the air. Lower operating temperature (typically 120–140°F vs 160–190°F for traditional), faster warmup (15–20 min), and often 120V-compatible for easier installation.
